Why should the customer buy from you?


You must answer this question before you begin selling. The reason is that you are the best. You must believe in this. Otherwise your sales pitch will be halfhearted. To do that you must believe in 3 fundamental things:

Your Company:

You must believe that your company is the best at what it does. You believe your company has the best values, the best culture, the best working environment and the best products that deliver value to customers. This is the foundation of your belief system. Without the belief that the company you represent is the best, you cannot sell your product or service.

Your Product/Service:

You must believe that the product or service you are offering is the best available in the market. It offers the best value for the customer and will contribute to the growth of the customer. Without your product the customer will be left with a poorer experience.

Yourself:

You need to believe in yourself. You are the best spokesperson for your company and your product. Even before the customer sees or uses your product, the customer sees you. Your voice, your posture, your expressions should exude confidence. The confidence comes from believing in your company, your products and your own abilities. Train yourself, hone your skills, own the product as your own. Your confidence in yourself will help engage the customer and start your conversation.
