You can prioritize what you need to do by following a list. It also ensures that you can complete all the things that are required.
There are some things you are required to do on a daily basis. These tasks are repetitive and easily overlooked when bigger and more important tasks come along. Having them on top of your to do list ensures that you have completed them.
You will have tasks and assignments which span over a longer period of time. It is important to map out what needs to be done by a specific date and update them on the list. You can choose to prioritize them by color or number, but ensuring that they are completed ensures that your projects get completed on time.
There will be times when some tasks come about which are not in the daily plan. Leave some room for them so they can be added to your list.
It is also important to note that sometimes a few tasks will take longer than anticipated therefore other tasks on your list will remain untouched. Having a list ensures that you can carry on the work to the next day and give them a higher priority to ensure they are done.
