While commuting to work today the RJ on the radio announced that today was International Coffee Day.
A humble beverage that helps us throughout the day. Provides nourishment, uplifts our mood, gives us a a moment to pause, to reflect, to relax.
Coffee gives us an excuse to get together with colleagues, with friends, with clients. It helps us bond.
It keeps us awake during boring meetings, allows us to stretch our legs from sitting all day long.
It serves us in moments of desperation by giving us inspiration. Whether bitter or sweet, black or creamy, hot or cold, it serves to keep the world moving and connected at the same time.
So let's give our thanks for the humble cup and raise it to wish everyone peace, prosperity, growth and happiness.
